04/27/2006: "The hunchback of Beijing"

Well, there's no arguing about it: my pirates are truly an equal opportunities group! This guy is both a visible minority and a handicapped person! His being asian (chinese?) and hunchbacked makes his seem like he's always bowing, this and his glib tongue makes people tend to underestimate his intelligence and sneakiness. I tried to make his clothing sortof chinese and sortof piratey at the same time, probably failing at both. In the end I gave hima cutlass for the pirateness, though I expect he's probably more of a hand-to-hand martial artist - and much more of a talker than a fighter.
