More space operators! This is the Marquise Cherie Dune, an old drinking buddy of captain Irons. While he's constantly a bit tipsy, she's often totally passed out. She comes from a ancient noble line, who has been mostly penniless for a few generations now. She goes by on her family's rapidly-waning good name and credit, avoiding debt collectors, indulging her passion for expensive yet extremely tacky things. ...like her pet alligator slug right there.

Technically she owns the ship these people travel on, but she doesn't do anything to help run it, except come up with the occasionaly hair-brained moneymaking scheme. BUT, she provides romantic tension! Who does the Captain really like? Will he go for Maya's boobies, tight abs and brilliant scientific mind? Or will he go for the old friendship, laidback personality and REAL KISSABLE HUMAN FACE?
