02/23/2008: "More blood, more bowl."

You may remember some time ago I presented two Blood Bowl teams, the Princesses of Power and the Alphanumerics. Well, since I draw my own teams, I have the luxury of updating their looks to reflect their growth in skill or their injuriedness, as well as replacing dead players with new ones. SO I offer an updated look at these teams.


Gone are Tipper the blitzer and Nicole the catcher. Welcome, Courtney! Some linewomen have gotten better... Brittany is an excessively fast runner (hence the goggles), while Paris has the agility of an elf, and Lindsay has been known to wrestle people to the ground. Bambi and Candy both have the 'Guard' armour that Tipper had when she died, while Chloe has become so dauntless she can block trolls like nobody's business - hence the cool shades and jaunty scarf.

The reason why there are more Snotlings in the ogre team is certainly not that I've hired more to the team, no, there's actually only two originals still alive. But some (rare?) times the ogres get a cold and somebody has to fill in, so more journeymen have to step up. Meanwhile, the important guys have had a lot happen to them. #1 got beat up pretty bad, his skin is nothing but sensitive scar tissue anymore. #2 is more agile but slower... I chose to represent that as nerdiness? Don't ask. #3 blocks the opposition with his spiky armour) grinning the whole time. #4 is pretty impressive... he went up two levels, getting experience from NOTHING but causing casualties to the opposing teams - pretty violent. #5 is the new guy, still a bit clueless, but he'll learn.
