07/05/2008: "Dial D for Dizzy"

When I say I am seriously arting, I mean it! I do make some random sketches sometimes, but lately I haven't felt those were interesting enough to post. Hopefully something will change my mind. What I -have- been doing lately (aside from Flaky Pastry 200) are a few big, shiny pictures! You can see those mostly on my deviantart gallery - I could post them here, but Jogging is more for sketches, I feel... Anyway! Just so I have something to post, here is close-up and alternate view of my latest such big shiny picture - click to see the whole thing.


This is the result of an art trade with the talented Neolucky, who in exchange drew Croissant for me :D The above is her character Spindizzy, a futuristic hoverboarding furry chick with a thing for skintight outfits! The version with orange on it is the final one, but on the right you can see what was originally planned - a lot more skin! As I coloured I experimented with covering it up, and ended up liking the orange suit MUCH better; it's such a striking combination! Note the logo on her chest: it's both a D and a spiral (both stand for dizzy!)
