Flaky Pastry: Naked II
I think it's safe to say the first one was substantially more interesting than this! Flaky Pastry #2 was not a very busy strip. The two "photos" were drawn separately and pasted in. Nitrine's was a relatively old picture I already had, while Marelle's was drawn on the page previous to this one in my sketchbook.
Note the thankfully discarded first attempt at a first panel at the top, and how undefined Marelle's face is in the second panel, if it can even be called a second panel. I'm already starting to abandon trying to draw the comic in its final layout from the start! And it only gets worse later on. :D

Paraphernalia
I asked for a random word for inspiration, and this is what I got. Paraphernalia. So, I drew a guy carrynig lots of stuff. Based on an old drawing of a character that never got used for anything, and in fact doesn't even have a personality. Name Georn, collector of things.

Flaky Pastry: Naked
Flaky Pastry bares all! Underneath the sexy black lines and the colours, this is what you find. Yes, this is actually just a cop-out to say I uploaded something even though I drew nothing of worth today. This is the original sketch page for the first Flaky Pastry comic.
Since the begining, I've been using a carmine red col-erase pencil, for no particular reason I can discern. Now this sketch follows the final layout pretty closely. But nevertheless, I had to adjust things a lot. I just can't be bothered to plan ahead exactly how the panels will look, and where the speech bubbles will go. It only gets worse in the following strips! Notice I played around with various clothing styles, most notably on Marelle's appearance in the last panel.

Name recycling at its best!
Why post so few pictures lately? Because I have been corrupted! I have succumbed to Guild Wars.
Oddly, this mesmer chick has the same name as this crazy Jedi character. I tried to be original and only take inspiration from the awesome clothing designs of the game, but in doing so I only made it less awesome! I like the figure a lot, though. I'd have given her a more impressive staff, but that's where the page ended. Curse you, lack of layout planning!

Razorgoyle
Razor is a character of mine. Human. But when she first started, I think she was a gargoyle. I'm not sure anymore, though. I remember in her gargoyles days she had no wings, though. But she kicked ass. Anyway, I was watching the Gorgyles DVD everyone should own, so I figured... draw something like that. This was a pretty darn quick drawing.
