Someone said please, please do the unofficial pirates! Well, it doesn't take much to convince me of doing something I already felt like doing. So here's the first of the bunch. You may remember him from som Jogging entries as... the other one with the same title and... no others. He may have started out as a Creatacy character long before the "pirate series", but he's still a total fit for it, with his oversized crazy weapon and his fashion sense.

Mysterious, powerful, and evil. Where Captain Doombeard goes, DESOLATION FOLLOWS. I guess he's the last and most ominous of the pirate series! Unless I decide to include some... unnofficial members.

I was very surprised to find out that this guy seems to be missing from my previous Jogging postings! So the only place you could have seen him would have been on my deviantart gallery, in the group pictures of evil pirates.
I... still don't have a name for him! Maybe Li something or something Li. He's a schemer, at any rate. For all I know, he could have twenty dozen names.

Yeah... I'm not familiar with arabic naming conventions, and I didn't feel like bullshitting it, so I just called him the most stereotypical thing I could think of! Though I suppose he's almost more african than arabic... But I can't help it! He looked cooler with really dark skin! I suppose all these considerations are moot, since these pirates aren't really supposed to be from historical Earth?

This one was pretty tough, since I lost the high-res file. But it's always possible to reconstitute the picture from a lower-res version. (just long and annoying!)
The cute and charming lady who just happens to be a homicidal maniac has been done before, but classics are classic for a reason!

A couple of times lately, I have thought: Hey, why are none of my characters red-haired? I should come up with a redhead sometime, just cuz. Then I remembered I DO have a red-headed character, though an underrepresented one: Melusine! So I drew her, with something of a redesign, I guess.
I know Lysandre has red hair. Shut up, she doesn't count.
