Dunno why I didn't upload this yet. As I recall, I drew it around the time I was starting my journal, but I spent a few days messing with the code, getting everything to look the way I wanted, and by that time I had somethign else to upload, and I forgot.
Anyway, she's a ghost. A drowned bride who entrances the living with her song and lures them into her lake to eat them.

Melusine Thane, another character brought forth by Creatacy ¬_¬
She's an alchemist girl with a faerie mother, which means weirdness. This is her more common, human form. She's supposed to be very average-looking.
I had started to colour it (as you can see), and while I wasn't entirely displeased with the result, it was taking way WAY too much time, and I never feel very comfortable colouring things without clean lines... maybe I should stop trying to use Photoshop for that, and explore those ...y'know... OTHER, more painterly programs. And maybe work at a higher resolution (I usually just use 200dpi).

In another Blast From the Pasttm, because I was uninspired today, I searched through my old sketchbooks for something scanworthy. Of course most of the scanworthy stuff is already scanned, wether or not I showed it to anyone, which I sometimes don't remember. With the notable exception of... my abandonned comic attempts. So here is one, starring the slacker ninja, Rabare Furiku. I gave that one up not only because of laziness, but because I didn't feel comfortable going all japanese-themed, since that's not really me.

The fancy took me to redraw this random character I had drawn once before.

Click on it to see the full picture. Oh my. No, I'm not having any personal issues these days ;p
Just got into drawing a bigger picture of Leif after the close-up from yesterday. My favourite part has to be the expression on the demon's face. It was rather hard coming with with a generic demon to put under Leif's foot. I erased two or three times. I don't think the whole humanoid brute with a bunch of horns that I ended up drawing is very original or interesting... but hey, it's dead now.

That angry demon hunter of mine, Leif. I was so busy with the idea of him having half his face taken over by a demonic infection that I forgot he usually has a scar in that area. Oh well. one of those red lines must be it. Yeah. Anyway, the idea was that his affliction was more than just making his eye red and have a scar (which he's always had). Isn't it an intriguing idea that a demon hunter is cursed/wounded/possessed/etc by a demon, and gets no special powers from it, only pain and grief?
A try at somewhat less figurative colour than I usually do. Aka his skin isn't skin colour, his eyes aren't white, etc. Not liking it completely, but it's not TOO bad.
Edit: I felt I should include the uncoloured line art.

I liked the new costume design alright, but what I really liked when I drew Falingard last time, was the HAIR. I had endeavoured to make it wild and fluffy, as opposed to his old quirky hairstyle, but it ended up a mix of both, that I quite liked. So I think I'll keep it.
Bah, it looked better on the full-body sketch. *Shrug*

Some kind of... blue... sky... bird... man... priest... hunchback...
Which is pretty much how this drawing came about, starting from a randomly picked blue col-erase, and loosely associating one word after another, as they randomly came up in my head. The result is ... inconclusive.

Absolutely nothing to say today.
Well, except that I finally got some leads of the old brand I was using, and they rawk. Let that be a lesson to me: Buffalo = BAD. Pentel = GOOD.
But this, though, was drawn in light green col-erase. I might still use some col-erase in the future if I'm inspired to.
This was inspired partly by the protagonist of GTA: San Andreas, whom, in our game, went for a white in camo pants and no top. And by my new gloves, which are the fingerless-with-flipdown-mitten-top type. Which is totally contradictory with going around in a bikini top. But nevermind that.
Leg position is urgh. Abdomen and arm muscles are coo.
Like I said, nothing to say.

Rawr! Whip whip whip!
Uh... yeah.
Add.: First sketched in col-erase, then cleaned up in HB pencil, then INKED IN FLASH. Wooh, that's a bit time consuming. But .... I like the result of Flash inking o_0 And I'm... good at it? Anyway... I just really liked the original sketch, so this picture made it all the way to being coloured. Yay for me!
